I have been teaching guitar (and more recently, lapsteel) professionally for twelve years. In this time have helped hundreds of people between the ages of 5 and 75 achieve their goals when it comes to guitar playing. Using experience earned from performing, touring and recording, as well as knowledge gained from the BMus degree in Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music, I can help you get to where you want to be. Each lesson is individually tailored to the student and I currently have a 100% pass rate with my students who have taken graded exams. Until January 2023 lessons are available both online, and in person for those in the vicinity of Newcastle Upon Tyne. From 2023 lessons will be exclusively online, so that they can continue alongside my touring schedule.
